Stricklin was last seen in Kenner, Louisiana on March 1, 1998. Her vehicle was discovered abandoned on the Huey P. Long Bridge, near US Highway 90 in Louisiana, shortly after her disappearance. Her car keys and purse, contents intact, were inside, and the car was in working condition. Stricklin had previously been hospitalized for depression and had attempted suicide once before.
