The call to the baby sitter was placed at 5:13 p. m. and was picked up by a cellphone tower in the area of Morton Avenue and MacDade Boulevard. The baby sitter�s home was near Bullens Lane, a short distance away. But Amabile never showed up. The call to the baby sitter was the last call ever made from his cellphone. His vehicle, also missing, is described as a hunter green 2002 Ford Explorer with PA Lic# FLA 4785. James had a tendency to become confused and disoriented because of his diabetes. His credit cards, bank accounts and his cell phone have gone unused. Despite his diabetes, police have not found any record of any prescriptions being filled in his name.
