On Sunday October 10, 2010, Claudia Blake contacted the Wausau Police Department and reported her daughter Stephanie missing. According to Ms. Blake, her disappearance is suspicious. Ms. Blake told the police officers that it was out of character for Stephanie not to have phone contact with her on a daily basis, or to be gone for any extended period of time without having made arrangements for her dogs care. Stephanie's last known contact was made with a friend at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, October 10, 2010.
