Timothy was last seen at approximately 2:00 am at a friend's residence in the vicinity of Pinetree and Richard in Rolla, MO. He lived in the Huffman Trailer Park and at one time worked at Alex's pizza and G & D Steakhouse. He was seen with two men, James and William Bunton, in their truck earlier in the day looking for work, and supposedly went to buy food and litter for a cat at a market near the trailer park. At the time of his disappearance, Potter had a 1985 "Cadillac DeVille" that was not in working order. It was seen at the trailer park shortly after he vanished but a neighbor saw a man with a small purple/dark blue pickup truck hooked it to Tim's car and told her that Tim wanted him to fix it for him, he knew Tim was missing. Potter disappeared under suspicious circumstances.
