On the morning of 8/26/14, Anastacia Reyes walked from her residence to two grocery stores, where purchases were made. She then walked home, arriving there at approximately 10:45 am. Acquaintances of Anastacia came to her house at approximately 12:30 pm to give her a ride to work. Anastacia did not respond when the acquaintance knocked on her door. A van, that Anastacia had recently purchased, was discovered to be missing from Anastacia's driveway. The van was located on 8/28/14 behind a business located at 509 Ward St. , in Wakarusa, IN. The van had been burned. Anastacia's remains were not in the van.
