She was last seen wearing a brown and white pullover sweater, brown pants with fine pinstripes and flip flops.

On the morning of September 2, 1961 Ramona Price told her father she was going to walk to their new home. That day, the Prices' were moving from a home in Santa Barbara to one located in Goleta, approximately 5 miles away. Her father jokingly said "go to it." He never saw her again. Ramona walked from Oak Avenue down Modoc Road and towards the entrance of the La Cumbre Country Club; police believe it was there that she disappeared. Her scent was tracked for two miles down the road before being lost. One witness reported seeing Price climb into a faded blue 1953 or 1954 Plymouth. The driver was described as a white man between thirty and forty, with dark eyes and hair. He had a receding hairline and thin features, and wore an open-collared sport shirt over a white undershirt. It is possible she was a victim of serial killer Mack Ray Edwards.
