Rawley was last seen in College Park, Maryland. Helen had lived with her son since the death of her husband in 2001. When her son returned from his job, he found his mother missing. The lights were off and Rawley's purse was left behind. She had not left the house by herself, except to get the mail, since suffering strokes.
