Hensley had a dispute with his family in the early morning hours of July 6, 2003, and left his Farnham, Virginia residence at approximately 2:30 a. m. His vehicle, a dark green 1994 Chevrolet S-10 truck with a dent in the passenger side door to the plywood tailgate, light green doors, and Virginia licence plates numbered YLA 5028, is also missing. Hensley lived in Bealeton and was working in Haymarket until he and his family moved to Farnham the previous April. He enjoys working outdoors and likes to work with animals. He once worked at Double "O" Good Alpaca Farm near Gainesville, Hensley worked there on two occasions, beginning in 1988. Hensley was a veritable "jack-of-all-trades," who excelled at plumbing, dry-walling and wiring. He is a devoted father who never would have walked away from his children.
