William was last seen at approximately 10:30am at his residence in the vicinity of the 3000 block of Pacific St. in Woodburn, IA. His mother last heard from him when he hung up the telephone to answer the door. No one has seen or heard from him since then. There were no signs of a struggle in his home. Investigators, along with family and friends, have searched the farm where Bill lived with his son Billy and sent divers to check out a nearby farm pond and later had it drained but it didn't bring them any closer to Douglas. Law enforcement became even more concerned when Douglas� bank account had no activity.
