Darryl was last seen in the early morning hours of July 31, 2005 hanging out with friends at the Crescent Hill Apartment Complex and in the area near South Church Street. He was reported missing by his family on August 3. Police later recovered Miller's vehicle and some of his belongings. Darryl's cousin said it's not like him to go somewhere without contacting his family. When his vehicle was found, his cell phone and his wallet were still in the truck. He has a bank account that hasn't been touched. Police found enough evidence, blood DNA, to arrest two men. Police arrested David Carson of Inman and Leon Jones of Spartanburg for the murder of Miller. They say the motive was robbery. Miller's blood was found in the car belonging to Carson�s girlfriend despite efforts to clean it. They were convicted in 2010, and sentenced to 30 years each. Miller may have been disposed of in Union County.
