On 12/27/11 Lacey Buenfil and an acquaintance, Terry McDowell, were driving in the Ocala National Forest. At 3:00pm the vehicle became stuck on Railroad Grade Road just south of Forest Road 14. Lacey Buenfil walked away from the vehicle and walked south on Railroad Grade Road and has not been seen or heard from since. Dogs tracked Lacey's scent from the woods back to State Road 19. Although Buenfil�s family has told detectives she has been missing before, her previous disappearances have not been for this long. There have been several searches for Buenfil � some large, some small � and none of them has yielded any results.
