Miller was last seen at 8 p.m. on August 16, 1968.Miller, an irrigator, didn�t show up for work the next day. His wife hadn�t seen him either.He was driving a 1960 white, four-door AMC Rambler.In the 1980s, deputies dredged the Snake River below the Upper Salmon Dam in hopes of finding Miller�s car. A decade later, deputies dug up a backyard in Gooding County. Neither search found anything.
